2010 A clean slate and hopefully a hot air balloon date

Well kids a belated Happy Holidays! I must say Christmas went by WAAAAAY to fast and I cannot believe I am already back at work. Gross. I had a great time in Evansville and an interesting drive back to say the least. I am about an hour out of Evansville on my way to Peoria rocking out to "A Whole New World" from my cousins mixed CD when I got a friggin flat tire! I was driving my cousin James' car that had just gotten new tires a week earlier. Well FRICK! I was hoping this was going to be an easy trip and I would get to Peoria in time to nap before the nights festivities began. Not so much. I tried to change the tire myself and failed miserably. SO I called a near by shop where I swear to god Opi came and put the donut tire on. They took me back to their shop that was the most hillbilly place I have ever seen. Seriously they had the ten commandments on their cash register next to a Nascar decal. Since this car apparently has the most ridiculously sized tires I had to drive a solid hour to Mt. Vernon to get the tire because Opi, paw and the gang didn't have what I needed. So back on the road going 50 with a tiny tire I run into a detour.......that is completely gravel roads. Great. just great. I am in backwoods IL with a tiny tire. I am envisioning myself stranded and all I think about is that creepy albino kid from Deliverance and that banjo song. Finally I get to a Walmart that has a tire for me. 150 bones later I am back on the road. I arrived in Peoria popped open a cold one in the shower and headed out with the cousins. 5 shots later I am sleeping on the hard wood floor and already hating myself for the hangover I am sure to have on the drive home. And i did.....oh i did have a hangover.

That was just quick recap of the holiday which consisted of no potential hot air balloon dates. But this is a new year! This is it guys! I even wrote it on my 2010 list of things to do in this order

1. Save more money

2. Bowl 165

3. win weight loss competition (starts jan 4th and last 12 weeks. winner gets six moths free personal training!! It's so on.)

4. Fall in love and/or find hot air balloon date

5. Organize itunes library

6. finally send matt and erins wedding gift

7. enter Bleu in cat show

Hahahha I am only teasing about that last one. BUT a goal is to go to a cat show in 2010 just for the experience. Trust me there will be plenty of blogging material there. Anyway, moving on. I bet you are are wondering if I possibly found Mr. right last night on NYE. Well if Mr. right is Billy Crystal in When Harry Met Sally then yes I found him! I stayed in last night and it was INCREDIBLE to say the least. Made myself a steak, ate some baileys ice cream and was asleep by 10:30. Missed 10 phone calls two of them referencing mony mony being played at the party they were at. LOVE IT!

Ok I am going to go take down my x-mas decorations and get this year started!!!!!! would love to hear your NY resolutions!
